Templar Battleforce offers an immersive gameplay experience with an intricate sci-fi storyline featuring multiple endings. The branching storyline will keep you engaged as you tailor your battleforce with exacting precision by recruiting and designing each squad member. Customize the appearance, equipment, talents, and armor design of your veteran Templars to match your style of play. The game features several deployment scenarios, including corridor-to-corridor warfare, open desert warfare, territory control, defensive last stands, scorched-earth retreats, infiltration deep behind enemy lines, and complex puzzles. To emerge victorious, you must lead your squad in battle against mighty foes and deploy specialist Templars with unique fireteam combinations, including stealth, grenades, defensive overwatch, scorching flamethrowers, hindering attacks, and sentry turrets.

The Templar Battleforce game's storyline is set in the Galactic War against the Guild, where the Templar Knights, elite forces for the Star Traders, fought bravely. The knights' strong Zendu bloodline endows them with the ability to pass down every memory from their past lives (and those of their forefathers) to newborns with proper training and rituals. This inheritance, known as a Templar’s Lineage, gives them incredible advantages in combat, tactics, and engineering, and the ability to pilot the massive Leviathan Battle Suits. Players take on the role of a Templar Captain hailing from a storied lineage that stretches back 87 Templars and pages back through memories to cope with the dire situation at hand.
