Game overview
Dust & Neon blends twin-stick shooting with a dusty sci-fi western setting.
You play as a gunslinger waking up in a world full of malfunctioning robots and broken promises, where most of the game is spent weaving through cover, reloading under pressure, and deciding whether to risk another shot or retreat to safety. The combat is punchy and deliberate, with a reload system that forces you to stay alert instead of holding the trigger down. It feels tense in short bursts rather than overwhelming.
Outside the firefights, progression comes from scavenging loot, upgrading weapons, and slowly piecing together a character that can handle tougher waves of enemies. The missions are structured but flexible – you can push through multiple runs in one session or just jump in for a quick skirmish. The mix of roguelite elements and arcade gunplay makes it play more like a cycle of trial and error than a linear campaign, and that loop is what keeps you coming back.
