All you need is a magical phone, however, read the fine print before proceeding. Guildlings is a novel story-drive game developed by Sirvo Studios, led by Asher Vollmer (creator of the game Threes), and IGF award-winner Jamie Antonisse. Drawing inspiration from classic RPGs, point-and-click puzzlers, and visual novel games, it narrates a cheerful, coming-of-age fantasy story in a modern mobile setting. Explore custom-designed, low-polygon environments such as floating ruins, a tavern created from wrecked ships, and the summit's adolescent hangout known as the “Makeout Temple.” Use a text chat system to make choices and converse with your companions. Your decisions will affect the story, and the characters will react appropriately, leading to amusing and engaging moments. In Guildlings, you'll enjoy playful turn-based combats, making advantageous use of each Guildmate's unique set of skills that corresponds to their personality. Further, you'll use your Guildmaster magic to influence the surroundings. With a single touch, you can open doors, unlock treasure boxes, or even blow up your dad's favorite lamp. Potent magic powers are tied to the Guildlings' moods, keeping them happy makes journeying easier. However, a little drama will sometimes take the story to more interesting places.
