Bluey's Quest for the Gold Pen is a story written by Joe Brumm and created by Halfbrick Studios. The game based the hand-drawn worlds of the Dragon and Escape episodes. If you’re unfamiliar with this show, that’s perfectly fine. During the game’s initial launch, you’ll watch a hilarious cartoon story explaining how Bluey’s Quest began and the reason behind their search for the golden pen. I highly recommend watching it to become more involved in the story.

This game features nine collectible levels and a warm family friendly atmosphere. To unlock a new level you must complete a collection quest. These top-down levels reveal vast locations, hidden treasures puzzles challenges and quests. You’ll also meet amusing characters like Bingoose and King Goldie Horns. Fly skate in the mountains, explore forests and even visit the Australian landscape.

The levels look like sketches from a child’s imagination brought to life and I absolutely love them. The soundtrack perfectly maintains the iconic Bluey musical style.

Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen offers a free level or optional one-off payment to unlock full game. It also supports controller use.

I recommend this game if you’re looking for a kind, heartwarming story and simply want to relax and enjoy your time. It’s suitable for both children and adults.

From the first screen, I was impressed by the graphics. I stood in a forest with a pleasant palette and had a quest to find the fox, deer, and moose. Not only to find them, but also to take photos of them. After taking the photo, the animal disappeared. Also, this was one way how to earn some money.The game follows you on the main quests, and the tutorials too, introducing new mechanics. For example, I had to drink water, sleep, and eat to survive. Exploring the world on the van to complete side quests was a cosy part of the game. Help strangers and clean the forest from trash.

Later, I discovered that the game featured a large city, similar to GTA. The city’s residents were quite amusing. I encountered a homeless man asking me to buy him food and a girl with the surname Hangover walking around in just her underwear. These encounters genuinely made me smile. One thing to note is that game is not fully open world. It’s look like loading screens between locations.

VanLife Simulator has a calming and pleasant ambient, lo-fi soundtracks, and more energetic for driving. It’s suits very well for nice forest views, especially cool stay ride on the van through mountain roads near the ocean and sun. Take a rest near the campfire, sit on the chair in the nite and sleep till morning. What I didn’t really like and felt a bit out of place were the coins and cash scattered around the locations and roads, which, in my opinion, don’t fit the overall relaxing and immersive atmosphere of the game.

VanLife is a free game with ads. In one of the previous versions, the developers promised a no‑ads option coming in the future. Let’s looking forward to it.

It’s a great mobile, relaxing simulator with beautiful visuals

Minecraft’s gameplay consists of five core activities: exploration, resource gathering, crafting, combat, and building. Players while the game doesn’t follow a traditional storyline, it includes a final boss and a true ending. The game offers multiple modes, including: survival, creative, adventure, and multiplayer. I spent a lot of time in the Grow a Garden map and I recommend it.

As for me, Minecraft is the best game to play with friends. We also chose it because it’s cross-platform on all devices (on PC use Bedrock version)

In 2025, Minecraft updates are released roughly every 2 or 3 months, instead of once a year like before. The four updates in 2025: Spring to Life; Chase the Skies; The Copper Age; Mounts of Mayhem. In the last update added a spear, and I’m enjoyed a lot, now jump farther, fight while riding, and now much easier to defeat the final boss.

The game is paid, and it also offers a subscription called Minecraft Realms, which gives extra online features. The basic version for me is enough to play.
