The Conjuring Coffin

In a mysterious village nestled in the Xilian Mountain region, there are believers who honor the "Mountain Deity". In times of crisis, this deity demonstrates its strength through "spirit invoking" to revive souls from the afterlife - however, every invocation necessitates a corresponding offering. A detective named Peng Ze embarks on a journey to this secluded area to probe a sequence of vanishings, his leads guiding him to the ancient Hejia Village. As he delves into his inquiry, an unforeseen mishap thrusts him into the concealed recesses of the village. Surrounded by nightmarish creatures, peculiar homicides, and intricate deceit, Peng Ze begins to doubt the very fabric of reality. In this domain where the living aspire for eternal existence and the deceased crave peace, those who conduct rituals to summon spirits soil their hands with blood, all in pursuit of a divine gaze that could beckon souls to their burial caskets.
