Much, the fastest miller's son in Lincoln Green, who initially joined the Sheriff's guard to help people but has begun to have second thoughts.
Get ready to encounter Sarge, the man running the Sheriff's guard, who perpetually collects "taxes" from the people. Al Chemical, the wizard, raconteur, and quite possibly insane, is a henchman the Sheriff admires. Speaking of the Sheriff, he is now the ruler of Lincoln Green after the King and Queen's mysterious disappearance. He is now implementing his progressive tax reforms, which keep escalating with no end in sight! Finally, there is Glom. Al Chemical's creation is an attempt at the mythical Golem for the Sheriff's forces. It was supposed to be his masterpiece, but he found himself short of the key ingredients and ended up using something in abundance in Lincoln Green- butter.
