In the years following the tragedy, the human kingdoms crumbled in the fires of war and desolation. In the final moments right before losing everything, the survivors, under the supervision of a coterie of ancient druids, withdrew to the mysterious underworld, Underdeep. Now, the few remaining humans dwelling in the Underdeep are hassled by the persistence of malevolence, which has followed them into their underground refuge. Heroes of Steel is the ultimate tactical, turn-based RPG, where you steer four distinct heroes, each with their peculiar expertise, abilities, and powers, through the perilous and hostile Steel world. Tackle tactical combat with cunning, magic-wielding foes out to crush humanity's last refuge. Maneuver each hero's strategy, so you build a resolute team capable of confronting the insurmountable odds. Using a mix of fighting skills, subterfuge tactics, and deft maneuvering, your party must overcome numerous barriers, puzzles, complicated mazes, and ferocious forms of foes. The game's character customization features allow players to augment every hero's potentials by strengthening attributes, talents, and skills, all with an extensive range of weaponry, armor, and up to three regular or magical accessories. As you progress through the crypts, cities, and dungeons, you'll get the chance to develop an overall strategy that your team can implement. With multiple levels of talents and thousands of equipment possibilities, you have absolute control over the trajectory of each character.
