Here Be Dragons is a turn-based strategy game with unique "living map" graphics that will take you on a quest featuring a band of crazed captains further exploring the events behind Christopher Columbus' discovery of the New World. Though history books say that Columbus and his 100 men, with their three ships, managed to discover the Americas in ten weeks, there's more to the story. In order for Columbus to traverse the seas, an "Avant Armada" of maniacs, psychos and other crackpots had to eradicate Evil in the waters. Unfortunately, the archive information about these legendary monsters battles has been erased from human memory. Here Be Dragons depicts these events in a fascinating way. The game's original Dice Activation System adds an extra dimension of excitement to the gameplay as you attack your enemies, heal your crew and upgrade your fleet while also using Command Points to turn the battle in your favor. The extensive map is full of creatures that are attempting to devour you while you are on your quest, but you will confront them all including the predatory whales and lustful mermaids. Decimating the tritons and awakening Dagon will erase them all from human memory. Along the journey, you'll meet an extraordinary group of oddballs, madmen and weirdos that will fuel your journey with their virtues and vices. However, you'll also experience clashes with the bureaucratic machine, which may drive you insane when confronting absurdities spouted by the authorities and royal advisors. Don't lose it!
