In an era of peace and prosperity, the evil Lich, Zria, commences its dark agenda by robbing the Order of Light’s treasury while the Order has become complacent. Among the stolen items, the forbidden artifact of legends, Aether Crystal of Aion, which boasts the limitless power to create and end worlds on whim at the cost of sanity and soul, has been taken. The user plays and controls the hero, Diodorus Aeroh, as he pursues Lich Zria in an endless chase across time and space as Lich Zria uses the artifact’s power to transform the world but curiously does not affect the hero.

During the game, the player is running across different realms and dimensions in the pursuit of Lich Zria, while they try to stop the hero by creating obstacles, conjuring creatures, breaching new dimensions, and commanding enemies to stop the player. The player must dodge these obstacles and defeat the monsters while avoiding their attacks. Along the way, the player collects and absorbs excess energy in the form of dimensional shards, which can be used to create items and upgrades as the player crosses different dimensions. If the hero fails in his pursuit, the gods use their power to transmigrate the hero to the start of his chase.
