In the year 2062, Neo Berlin is a gloomy megalopolis that is ruled by corporations. In this city lives a nine-year-old orphan named Tina, who resides with her large, awkward, and protective robot guardian, SAM-53. Despite being a city kid, Tina has learned to survive alone by scavenging from dumpsters and making a living out of scraps. The amusing robot by her side is always programmed to shield her from danger.

One fateful day, Tina discovers that her father left her a vital mission: to finish his plan of saving the world from bleakness. Together with SAM, Tina embarks on an exciting journey across different realities inhabited by peculiar robotic creatures and grotesque human beings. Through solving puzzles and engaging in dialogues, they both learn about the essence of living.
