Donut County

Donut County is an engaging puzzle game, where you control a growing hole that devours everything in its passage. In this story-based game, you will interact with multiple characters that have unique homes encompassing various environments. Each character also carries items that you will swallow, progressively increasing the size of the hole. In Donut County, you play as BK, a raccoon that is obsessed with earning absurd prizes by gulping down trash. Along with your fellow raccoons, you use remote-controlled holes to steal from residences. Nevertheless, the situation escalates when BK falls into one of his own holes, thereby confronting some of the Donut County inhabitants, including his best friend Mira. Additionally, the rest of the residents are stuck deep underground, and they demand a resolution. This game has an extensive community that you can explore, and you will find out that each character that you encounter has an individual background to their residence. Once you reach each property, you can maneuver the hole to consume every item and cause chaos. Furthermore, you can combine things that you have eaten to form spectacular effects, such as launching fireworks or breeding bunnies. Additionally, you can catapult some of the merchandise back out of the hole, which is occasionally beneficial for solving puzzles. To conclude, Donut County is the brainchild of Ben Esposito, who previously lent a hand in designing What Remains of Edith Finch and The Unfinished Swan. His solo project cumulated six years of development, study through dozens of donuts, and an unusual raccoon encounter. With his effort, he created an exciting game where the hole's appetite knows no bounds!
