Torecower

Torecower is a minimalist arcade game that tests your strategic thinking skills as you build and upgrade automatic turrets to fend off waves of enemies. The game's unique selling point is the turrets themselves, each with their own distinct attack behaviors that require thoughtful consideration to utilize effectively in gameplay. For instance, Shooters fire their rounds more quickly than other turrets, and their bullets can penetrate enemy defenses, whereas Arcanes focus on magic-casting capabilities.




As you progress through the game's 20 waves, you have the opportunity to level up your skills on a skill tree, thereby strengthening your turrets. It's important to choose upgrade paths wisely; taking the Shooter path will restrict your options on the Arcane path and vice versa.




The game boasts a diverse selection of 12+ turrets, each with unique attacks to keep gameplay fresh and interesting. Four different classes imbue the game's various turrets with distinctly different effects and behaviors, further adding to the game's strategic depth. As the waves go on, the game's difficulty ramps up, as you face off against 4+ different enemies, each with their own unique attributes.
