Fast-forward to modern times, and Nonno's illness prompts Kai to leave her home and travel to Mutazione. Still, she soon discovers that things are not as peaceful in this small town as they seem. Secrets and betrayals are bubbling beneath the surface, and there is a strange bird-like figure appearing in Kai's dreams, adding an eerie feel to the game. Mutazione is not just any adventure game.
