To do this, players must upgrade their ships with advanced technology and weaponry to efficiently destroy and harvest these celestial bodies.



Vortex sets itself apart from other space exploration games by incorporating real-world astronomical locations and centers. Players can visit and interact with renowned research facilities, such as the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in the Atacama Desert, or the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in Tenerife, Spain. Throughout the game, players will encounter non-playable character (NPC) scientists who share their knowledge on various topics, including astronomy, astrophysics, and space travel.
