It is also supported by the CNPq Vaccine INCT, the USP Vaccine Research Support Center and the Federal University of Paraná. The mechanics of the game were made by Claudio Torres who does biomedical informatics at UFPR, with design by Allan de Carvalho from Dr. Nakaya's laboratory at USP and music by prof. Murilo Geraldo of UNICAMP.



The VACC Game teaches in a fun way a lot of important things related to vaccination: the importance of mask and social isolation (even with vaccines out there), herd immunity, the viral variants that arise in epidemics and how they can escape vaccine protection and even the danger of believing Fake News. All of this the player will learn without even realizing it.
