Slide-It

The objective is to move the tiles, using the empty tile space, to the correct position in order to assemble the picture in the least amount of moves. • What makes this app different from other slider games is that it calculates the minimum path and displays the minimum number of moves needed to solve the puzzle. Since showing the next move can be turned on or off, one could solve the puzzle without the next move showing and if not the minimum path, play the same game this time with the next move showing.

Displays:
• SOUND -- indicates if sound click is turned on or off.
• MIN. MOVES -- indicates the minimum moves needed to solve the puzzle.
• NEXT MOVE -- shows the move needed to complete puzzle in minimum moves.
• MOVE -- is the last move you made.
• MOVES -- is the number of moves made.
• TIME -- is the time used solving the puzzle.

Buttons:
• QUIT GAME closes the application.
• FINISH GAME moves the tiles to complete the game.
• SAME GAME arranges the tiles in the same order as the previous game.
• NEW GAME arranges the tiles with a different order.

Action Bar Buttons:
• SEE IMAGE - shows the image completed
• NEW IMAGE - gets image from either the application or image stored on the device
• SETTINGS allows one to:
• -- Select the difficulty size (3x3, 4x4 or 5x5).
• -- Show next move.
• -- Show number on Image.
• -- Turn sound on or off.
• -- Select a tile arrangement of different degrees of difficulty. Ideal for younger children.
