PZLD requires the skills of a vocabulary rich crossword puzzle player and pits them against crossword-like clues but there is no crossword itself… players must dig deep into their mental dictionary, thesaurus and even some abstract thinking to solve the clues and get the right word.
Earn points and lives as you play, and if you get stumped you can reveal hints like how many vowels and what the first letter of the word is… but these will cost you, also - Guessing wrong will cost you!
