Players can enjoy various features that resemble the classic football gameplay, including touchbacks, safeties, touchdowns, field goals, extra points, and 2 point conversions. You can play against the dynamic AI environment that, coupled with the physics system, creates highly unpredictable situations, meaning no two games against the CPU are ever alike. The game features three difficulty levels that allow you to adjust the challenge level to suit your skill. Players can compete in a local 2-player versus mode that lets both players sit in front of each other and take turns scoring, enhancing the classic arcade feel. Larger screens like tablets offer a greater visual experience. The tournament mode is available for 1-6 human players, supporting single-elimination brackets, with progress that can be saved and resumed. The game features three unique challenges, with scores tracked, to test your abilities. These challenges include Shred the Defense, where defenders block your path to fling the football to the receiver; Two Minute Drill, a race to score as many touchdowns as possible while the clock ticks; and Field Goal Frenzy, an attempt to score as many field goals as possible without missing. Pixel Push Football allows customization and comes with varying control options that you can personalize. Customize the ball impact force and pointer offset in the settings menu to suit the device being played on. The game features "8 bit" retro-style art and sound, offering an old-school gaming vibe. There are various customization options, including 3 themes, 8 fields, 26 different ball designs, and 6 player color choices. These features let you tailor the game's visual aesthetics to your liking, ensuring an immersive and personalized gaming experience.
