Our app is one of the most customizable trivia games on the market! Customization options include: round time, timer sound, points to win, and category (with more on the way!). The Pro version has access to all of the premium decks including:

The variety of decks will appeal to any group of friends or family you may play with. Gather with them in a circle, keeping in mind that the people to your right and left are your competitors on the opposite team! Choose your preferences in the game settings (round time, category, points to win, etc.) and start! The clue-giver is trying to get their teammates to guess the word/phrase displayed on the phone by describing it or acting it out while being careful to avoid:
Saying a word that rhymes with any word displayed
Saying any part of the word / phrase (e.g., “wrist” in “wristwatch”)
Give the first letter of the word
Say the number of syllables
Members of the opposing team sitting to the right and left can overlook to ensure the clue-giver makes none of those errors. If the clue-giver happens to make an error, she must skip to the next word. There are unlimited skips, however the decks do recycle themselves. If you want to play at even higher stakes when a clue-giver commits an error, make her lose her turn and pass to the next person or make her team lose that round altogether. That’s the advantage of My Catch Phrase- you have the ability to customize the rules to how high stakes your team wants to play.
Make sure to follow the golden rule of My Catch Phrase- don’t be the one holding the phone when the buzzer goes off because your team will lose! The game ends when one team reaches the number of points to win. Play again by rematching the team who won or switch it up by changing teammates.
