Since Heaven has to always remain open to be able to take in the saved souls of the fallen the Heavens Gate could never be closed and thus the gate keeper was created an angel given the most important job of all monitoring the gate and keeping corrupted souls from entering heaven.
As luck would have it you were chosen for this position and it is your duty to keep heaven pure.
