This early access game will receive frequent updates and new features as time goes on, so you can expect ongoing improvements. However, due to the significant changes made to the data structure with each update, saved game progress will be lost. So, it’s recommended to disable auto-update if you wish to retain your progress.
As a casual game, Dream City Profitist doesn't feature combat or any kind of paranormal activity, but it still offers plenty of unique and exciting features to keep you entertained. In its current build, there are a few placeholder art pieces, but these will be replaced with high-quality artwork as the game grows.
The already implemented features are quite impressive and will keep you engaged for hours. You can work at ad agencies, law firms, fashion or modeling agencies. Do part-time jobs, fishing at different spots throughout the island, rummage through trash cans to collect scrap and sell it for money, attend classes to gain skills, and upgrade your home with up to 20 furniture options. Additionally, you can cook food using their 80 recipes with ingredients from hypermarkets, and invest in mutual funds.
There are also upcoming features in development to make the game more exciting. These include unlocking wealth status to get benefits such as investing in the stock market, watching TV shows to unlock recipes and gain inspiration for painting, building relationships with NPCs to unlock opportunities, buying suburban, beach, or townhouses to get rental income, and investing in the country stock market.
