In this game, your goal is to make your opponent insane or have more sanity than them when the deck runs out. To start the game, you and your opponent start with a small deck of initiates, followers, and goons. Five cards will be available to each player, and with more players, three available cards will be placed between each pair of players. You'll start your turn with five cards in hand, where you can put locations into play, gather conjuring power to acquire new cards, and reduce your opponents' sanity or boost your own. When playing, you can only use your location's power once per turn. Discard any cards remaining in your hand, as well as any entities and artifacts played. If you lose all your sanity points, you're out of the game. On the other hand, if you're the only one at the table with sanity left, you win. If the deck runs out before either happens, the player with the most sanity points becomes the winner. Darwin Kastle, the creator of the popular deck-building game Star Realms, brings new gameplay with Cthulhu Realms digitally. The free version offers a ton of playability, and players can upgrade once to play with friends and access more on any device.
