You're an alien pathologist. Search the Database for alien physiology and dissect bodies to figure out what caused death. Find the correct IDs based on the deceased's features and occupation. Discover weird stuff inside bodies and decide what to do with it. Follow protocols or personal request? Choices matter!
Alien Morgue is a sci-fi medical sim where you search for the correct causes of death, identifying aliens and making decisions by choosing how to treat bodies and their stuff. A mix of Papers, Please, Strange Horticulture, with a pinch of Rick and Morty and X-Files.

World
You're a citizen of an alien world where people live in the belief that a rich and powerful corporation will soon create immortality. But in order to live long enough to see immortality, people must rent cryocapsules in which they can be stored after death. These cryocapsules are provided by the same corporation, and only rich people can afford them.

Story
Your story begins with the death of your spouse. Unable to cope with the loss, you take a job at a morgue owned by the corporation. Working at the corporation's facilities earns employees credits that can be spent directly on renting cryocapsules.
While working at the morgue, you will uncover a terrible conspiracy related to the corporation's activities and will be faced with a choice: to complete the project and bring back your loved one, despite the moral contradictions, or to find peace and begin to appreciate life again.
