"Nomad Soul Zero" is an album game conceived by the band "Rieg", produced by Toroh Productions and developed by Barbaric Realms Studio, which tells the story of Filosofino, an artisan of technologies in a dystopic cyberpunk world in the future.
The project has a story that corresponds to the five songs of the eponymous EP and the whole project is a prelude to the band's second album, “Nomad Soul One”, which brings the complete story of the Filosofino character and his journey.
It's 2578. Terrible Inc, an American mega-corporation, has become the government itself, through a policy that seeks to profit from the oppression of the population.
Known for being involved in secret experiments involving the transfer of human consciousness to machines during the Cold War, Terrible Inc was able to achieve success during the 26th century and intends to upgrade people's neural chip.
Amidst this system, there is a hacker-activist group called Horus that seeks to free itself from the technological slavery of the company. Its leader, Iordz, is sure that the upgrade planned by Terrible Inc is to perform a digital lobotomy, manipulating people's memories, opinions and thoughts for the benefit of the corporation.
The game begins when Iordz turns to Filosofino, a technology artisan, who intends to be responsible for infiltrating the company's digital matrix, circumventing the update and continuing to operate clandestinely in order to free the population from the domination of Terrible Inc.
