In a scenario no one wants to be in, an individual is trapped and haunted by a mysterious creature.
The nightmare can not be escaped, and so their only option left is to fend and run. Once the individual understands that the creature is inescapable, their only method for freedom will be to escape time and causality itself.
The individual is only equipped with a small hand-held device that can echo-locate the "something". Those are their only means to enlighten the eternal darkness. Only causality will tell us how the individual and the "something" came to be; only when causality itself becomes ambiguous.
