Experience an old-school feel with 8-bit style graphics and a nostalgic soundtrack while you aid a comical group of scientists in the fight against natural disasters caused by climate change across America. Experience the actual impact climate change has on the places you live in as you influence the game's climate events with your decisions. Verified by experts in the field, each event in the game is backed by scientific accuracy and presents an enlightening learning opportunity for players. Developed by the EarthGames team at the University of Washington, Climate Quest highlights the urgent need for action against climate change. The game rose to prominence after winning the national Climate Game Jam competition and being showcased at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in January 2016. Designed to be played by individuals aged 8 and above, Climate Quest is not only an entertaining game, but it can also be a valuable education tool in classrooms, museums or homes, with a game time of approximately 10 minutes.
