The objective is to be the first to reach a number of points, which can be 10, 20, 30, or 40.
You can play 1 against 1, or play as a team, with two or three players (4 or 6 players in total). For the mode with 6 players, you can choose whether to play head-to-head or not. Each player receives 3 cards. Whoever throws the highest card wins the trick, the best of three wins the round (hand). The points of the winning hand depend on the value of the agreed "cantos", "toques" or "gritos".
Value of the cards (from lowest to highest):
• Commons: 4, 5, 6, 7.
• Black Cards: 10, 11, 12.
• Cartas Bravas: 1, 2, 3, 7 of coins, 7 of swords, 1 of clubs, 1 of swords.
• Value of the cards for the envido or the flor: the cards are worth what their number indicates, except for 10, 11, and 12 which are worth zero. With 2 cards of the same suit, 20 points are added.
