We all need to be encouraged! Let’s face the truth; being a leader can be discouraging. Leadership comes with a lot of responsibilities and hard work. Many leaders are discouraged, drained, depressed and can soon be defeated. Sometimes it is hard to find inspiration and motivation to keep going! As leaders we can get weary in well doing. When we don’t feel like we have something that moves us towards our purpose or pursuing a bigger picture, discouragement can knock at our door. I hear many leaders who are asking for encouragement and saying they need more encourage. It seems the pressures and demands of being a leader are just too stressful and overwhelming for many people. It can seem like the work of the leader goes unrecognized and underappreciated by the people on his team. Many of us we start out doing good, on fire about our calling from God, ready to begin this journey for Christ but we start something great but we just don’t finish it. We’ve become more quitters than we’ve become leaders! Leaders don’t quit, they endure! Many leaders need to start specializing in follow-through. Follow-through is the continuation of an action or task until it’s completed. We need encouragement to complete the work that God has placed before
