This application of the Dexterity Skill Development game series provides an opportunity to expand color knowledge in a playful way by consolidating color names and linking them to colors.
The child has to figure out what colors can be created from the colors of two buckets of paint. As you think, you can use the outline of a color-specific shape outlined on the canvas, which means a frog in the case of green, for example.
