‘Spanish Judge Simulator’ is a game that denounces the little freedom of expression that exists in Spain. Based on real trials and real cases that have reached the Spanish courts, it is a satire that criticises the so-called ‘gag law’. Law that entered into force in 2015 and allows the police to impose penalties and determine the guilt of the accused without being a judge or simply use the laws at the convenience of the judges to apply the law at will. Welcome to Spain where playing to apply laws in a subjective way has never been so easy.
