Have you ever wished you could create your own improvised comedic songs, similar to those seen on various popular TV shows?
If so, then SingProv is the app for you! No longer do you need a big-budget TV show with an in-house band. Now anyone with a SmartPhone can use SingProv to join in the fun of musical improv! Best of all, SingProv makes this easy, so no musical knowledge or experience is necessary.
To get started, the first step is to choose a topic for your song. This could be a suggestion from a friend, or just the first idea that comes to your mind. SingProv also has a random topic generator, to ensure you never run out of inspiration!
The next step is to select a style for your song. SingProv has 10 backing tracks in different genres, including Reggae, Sea Shanty and Broadway. Either choose your favourite style, or use the random style generator for a fun challenge!
Next, select the number of players. SingProv can be played by a single player, or a group of up to 4 improvisers.
Now it is time to sing! SingProv displays instructions as the backing track plays, so each player gets a countdown to their turn to sing. The instructions also state whether a rhyme is needed.
This game may be challenging at first, but with practice you will soon be improvising hilarious songs! At this point you may want to film your performance and share it on YouTube, to impress your friends!
