RNLI VR Tour, for Cardboard

Experience an exciting and immersive journey into the world of the RNLI’s new Shannon class of lifeboat, the most agile and manoeuvrable all-weather lifeboat in the fleet. Using your Google Cardboard headset, you can explore every space in the lifeboat with the 360-degree photo-spheres that allow you to see all the intricate details as if you were actually there yourself. For more excitement, you can check out the RNLI’s lifesaving work in 360-degree video by visiting their YouTube channel and looking for the 360 video playlist. To begin your adventure, simply install the “VR Tour” app and enjoy the crystal-clear sound or use headphones for an ultra-realistic experience. You can opt for either the training mode or free roam, depending on your preference. If you are a first-time user, it’s recommended to start with the training mode for an easy tutorial. If you need a break, simply look down to return to the pontoon, and when you're ready to exit, look down again, and you'll be back. This app is built specifically for Google Cardboard but works with most popular smart phone VR viewers. This viewer features sounds from renowned sources like https://www.freesound.org/ and http://www.freesfx.co.uk/ that give you a more immersive experience.
