Retro Games Snippets Challenge

This game offers a whopping 1,800 unique challenges, all of which are spread across the computer and console systems of the past, including 8-bit and 16-bit systems and peripherals.

Here's the challenge, five games, systems, or peripherals are represented in each puzzle, cut into random snippets and scattered about the playfield. You must use your knowledge of retro games to select the correct snippets and spell out the answers. You must keep selecting the snippets until you select the right snippets for each of the five items listed in the puzzle. If you can move from one snippet to the next without selecting any unrelated snippet, you can easily scroll through the options and save time.

This is not all. You must complete each puzzle within the target times to get 3 shiny, golden stars for hitting or beating the gold target, 2 silver stars for achieving the silver target, and 1 for the bronze target. Currently, 20 categories with up to 28 puzzles per set are included, and each set comes with 5 challenges per puzzle. To add to the fun, snippets are generated 100% randomly, with each snippet comprising between 2-4 letters/characters per snippet. The game is skill- and knowledge-based, seeing that the order of the challenges is juggled every time, giving you unique challenges with every game.

If you get stuck at any point, there are options to tap BRONZE clues, which cycle more than one clue for that puzzle/game. Plus, if things prove too challenging, press and hold the clues for 2-3 seconds. This action highlights the correct snippets for the selected puzzle clue, albeit in no particular order. Please note: this strategy is sure to make you lose out on the gold target - use it at your own risk.
