Once you match a couple of cards, they vanish, thereby uncovering the subsequent row of cards in the Pyramid saga. For instance, a Jack and a 2 card make a successful pair. In case there are no other moves available, cards can be drawn from the stockpile to continue playing. The game ends when the stockpile gets depleted with no further play potential. In such cases, the player has to start a new game. The objective of the game is to play cards from the bottom row and continue till all the cards have been played.
