Monique, a sprightly tomboy in her late teens, relishes her life as a cat burglar in the heart of Paris. Her last burglary was not as successful as she imagined, and as fate would have it, she gets thrown in jail. While behind bars, she befriends a mysterious inmate who, like her, is also a thief. He discloses to her the location of a priceless diamond, stashed away in a concealed vault in the nerve centre of Paris. The duo hatch a plan to purloin the diamond together, embarking on a thrilling expedition through a Catholic monastery, a bustling Parisian metro station and the eerie Catacombs.
