This is a simple educational maths application that is split into mini-games, so you can choose which you prefer, or maybe play them all and improve you maths skills.
They will test you addition, subtraction, division and multiplication including parenthesis.
[ Summed Up ]
‘Summed Up’ will give you a target value and a set of 5 numbers ( small and large numbers which can be modified in the settings on the page ). You will then have 30 seconds to try and figure out how to get to the target value using the numbers you have. If you cannot do it then you can click on the ‘Show Equation’ button, the app will show you have to work it out or get as close as you can. You can also click on the 3 lines to show other equations that can be use.
[ Calculate This ]
‘Calculate This’ is set out like a calculator, you can input an equation and it will show you the answer and also how it got to the answer by breaking the equation down, once it shows you the answer then press the magnifying glass to show the breakdown. It will show you step by step how process the equation.
[ Equation Fun ]
This mini-game will show you an equation and you have the guess the right answer from the selection given. There is a time limit, every time you get the answer correct you get more time. There are various settings you can modify to set how difficult the equations will be, you can also set it so it alters dynamically and gradually gets harder. Why not try it and see how many you can get right, keep challenging yourself.
[ Multiply This ]
This mini-game will show you a given times table over multiple pages. You can either choose for the application to speak the answer or you can choose to enter the answer yourself and it will tell you if it’s right or wrong. You can also change the times table you want to view.
[ Speedy Sums ]
‘Speedy Sums’ is similar to ‘Equation Fun’ but there is a grid of numbers to choose from. It will store the amount of correct answers you get per game so you can try and beat yourself each time. You can choose from ‘Easy’, ‘Medium’ or ‘Hard’ difficulty.
Will scale to fit any size screen, it will work across all phones and tablets.
