Mate + is a project for the teaching of mathematics of Santillana Educación S.
L. It allows students to create their own problem-solving strategies through games and experimentation. This is fun math, based on decomposing numbers.
The contents are presented connected with the reality of the students: the house, the school and the neighborhood. The project is organized from 4 content blocks: numbers, problem solving, positions and geometry and measurement.
The Mate + app offers resources and activities for 3 years, 4 years and 5 years of Early Childhood Education. It includes:
• Card by card. Turning the worksheets.
• Games. Compendium of interactive activities and resources, whose objective is to reinforce mathematical content in a motivating way.
• Sheets. Number line and table, estimation lines, addition tables and visual problems.
• Subitizing bits. Sheets to work on the recognition of quantities at a glance, without having to count the elements one by one.
