The main character is a 16-year-old boy named Lachin. One day, a civilization desiring greater power attacked and ravaged his house, for the sake of the riches of the mines of his homeland.

The best and most expensive metals, minerals and stones are mined in the Hellirian Mountains. The region is known for the abundance of magical rocks and the strong connection of the inhabitants of the region with magic and spirits. The region is also known for its crafts and blacksmithing. Ellir's people mine special blue minerals. These natural stones are extremely rare and give magic or enhance it.
