HTL Catcher is an open souce Android side scroller game.
It was created as part of a project for the open day at higher technical college HTL Anichstraße in Innsbruck, Austria by students of the department for Business Administration and Engineering.
The player has to navigate through obstacles, which appear on the top and the bottom of the screen, by tapping the screen and thus making the player character jump up briefly. Additionally, throughout the game there are HTL logos moving from the right to the left side of the screen which give extra points when catched by the player character.
The game becomes more difficult over time. The goal is to reach the highest score possible and beat your previous highscore.
