About Freecell Solitaire

Freecell was derived from an old card game known as Eight Off, and is also a variation of Bakers game.



Over the years other games have been created from this classic Freecell such as Sea Towers and Castle Solitaire with the same goal of moving cards to their foundation piles.



Rules And Gamplay

- There are four open cells and four foundations to start the game. Cards are dealt with 8 cascades of cards.

- The top card on each Tableau creates a cascade of cards. To play another card on a cascade, the color must be the opposite and the number must be one less than the card it is played on.

- Cascades whether full or partial, may be moved around the table as long as they follow the rules of color and number sequence.

- The goal of the game is to get all cards moved to foundation piles building up by suit.

If you have played the 2 deck version of Freecell, Penguin or Antares, then you will likely enjoy this classic version. Remember that more skill and focus will be required for Freecell than clicking/tapping or other casual card games where matching is the only goal.
