The Emerald Flower, scientifically dubbed Stapelia Smaragdina, is a parasitic organism dating back to the Homo heidelbergensis epoch. This peculiar species relies on mammalian hosts for its reproductive cycle. It employs a captivating scent to allure humans, whose inhalation allows microscopic seeds to infiltrate the olfactory nerves. Unwittingly, the host then transports the parasite beyond the initial infection site.

Once inside the brain, the seed thrives by consuming glucose and extending root-like structures toward the brainstem.
