Upon reaching the back row, the man is promoted to a king, which can move any number of squares forwards, backwards, or sideways. Capture your enemy's pieces by jumping over them, removing them from the board immediately after the jump. If several jumps are possible, choose the one that captures the most pieces, since no difference is made between the king and men during the capture. If there is more than one way to capture the maximum possible number of pieces, you may choose which pieces to take. The game continues until one player is blocked from making any legal moves or runs out of pieces. Unlike other draught variants, Damasi has the unique rule, where as pieces are captured and removed from the board, it is possible to cross the same square multiple times during the same sequence.
