The game begins with the “Selections” process (similar to the draft process in fantasy sports games), in which a player invites a friend to participate in a short game during which both comprise a “team” (or “clique”, as referred to in the game) of celebrities for a two week duration. During the two week tournament, each player is permitted to “trade” a celebrity who is in their current clique with another celebrity that had not been initially selected, once a day, in order to increase their chance of winning. The players contend for points in 3 different achievement-based categories – points reflecting a given celebrities success rate in their main industry. and points reflecting their Instagram following. The winner is the player with the most points in at least two out of the three categories. At the end of each tournament, the players amass in-game currency.
