Panoramica del gioco

A fun math game for multiple players.

Make the equations that yield the most points.

CalcFeud is a math puzle for multiple players. You can challenge friends and random opponents and play 20 games simultaneously. You can search for a specific opponent or choose to let CalcFeud find a random opponent for you.

Create equations and place them on the board. The board is 13x13. The longer equation the more points does it yield.

The winner is the player with the most points when game is over.

You get points according to the mathematical sentences you complete (or affect) each turn. A sentence is defined as the one side of a equals sign. In most cases you will get most points by affecting one or more sentences on the board. The equals sign must be true though. Each tile has its own number of points:

• Numbers: 2 point

• Multiply and divide signs: 3 point

• Plus, minus and equals signs: 0 point

The game is turn-based. Your goal is to create the longest sentence or the one that yields the most points. You can do it by creating your own or affecting one or more on the board. A sentence has to be connected to an equals sign and the equals sign has to be true. No matter what the following applies:

• A sentence must be connected to an equals sign.

• The equals sign must be true.

• It is accounted for a sentence, if two or more tiles are adjacent.

• Sentences can only be placed horizontally or vertically.

• A sentence must be read from left to right or from top to bottom.

• General rules of calculation apply (multiplication and division first).

In each game you have 3 opportunities to swap your tiles. When you swap your tiles, your tiles will be removed and placed in the bottom of the deck. Five new tiles from the top of the deck will be given you. If the deck is empty you cannot swap your tiles and any saved opportunity will be lost. When you choose to swap you do not skip your turn.

You can choose to skip your turn. In that case your turn is lost. You can only skip one turn in a row. If you are stuck in the next turn you must surrender.

Any time you please you can choose to surrender. Every single point given you during the game will be withdrawn and your opponent might most likely stand as the winner.

A game has two possible endings. One of the players surrender or the deck of tiles is empty and one of the players manages to place the last number tile. The opponent then gets one last turn before game over.
