Bury me my Love recounts the tale of Nour, a Syrian refugee attempting to flee to Europe with her spouse Majd. As Nour embarks on a hazardous expedition to evade danger, Majd remains in Syria and guides her through a messaging app, offering advice to ensure a safe arrival.

The game has been recognized for its exceptional content, having been awarded the prestigious 14th IMGA Best Meaningful Play and Best Emotional Mobile & Handheld Game by Emotional Games Awards. Additionally, it was the winner of the Google Play Indie Games competition.

The game takes place within a messaging app, allowing players to communicate with Nour as though sending messages via WhatsApp. By exchanging emojis, pictures, and relevant links, players provide Nour with the necessary support to overcome the hardships she encounters. Moreover, the game provides numerous narrative routes to explore, with players’ decisions shaping the story's path and determining Nour's fate. The game offers 19 endings from 50 distinct locations, with widely divergent outcomes.

"Bury me, my love" is a Syrian farewell phrase used to express "take care" or "do not die before me." Majd uses the same phrase as he bids farewell to his wife Nour, who embarks on an arduous journey to Europe. The game's concept is based on the genuine experiences of a young Syrian woman named Dana, who fled her country and now resides in Germany. It is a reality-inspired game that draws inspiration from actual events and articles written by a Le Monde journalist, Lucie Soullier.
