Go on an adventure in your backyard and get to know the edible wild herbs and vegetables found in Finnish nature! You will learn to see familiar plants in a whole new way as you travel through familiar environments from your everyday life.

You can choose your own adventure partner from three different game characters. Explore all six environments and find all 21 different plants. During the game, you will learn about different wild herbs and vegetables and how you can take advantage of them in your daily meals. But be careful - not all weeds collected are edible! During your adventure, you will also meet the lovely animal inhabitants of Finnish nature. Collect all the plants and earn as many points as possible.

This game has been made in collaboration with Villipihlaja, an Tampere-based experience and program service company, whose courses teach you everything you need to know about wild herbs and vegetables. The game is part of the game project of Tampere University of Applied Sciences' degree program in computer science, which has been made in cooperation with the Virma project.

After playing a wild herbal adventure, you get a whole new idea of ​​all the potential food right under your feet.
