Tute is a game that has gained popularity in Latin America, where it can be enjoyed by 2 to 5 players. There is also an option for four players to team up in pairs and play against each other. The objective of the game is to be the first player or team to reach a specific point amount, and this is achieved using the Spanish deck of forty cards. The deck is structured, with each card having a specific point value. Ranked from high to low, the cards are Ace (11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (the white cards that hold no value). In the game, the first card played determines the leading suit, and each player must follow the same suit. However, if a player has no cards of the leading suit, they are free to play any card in their hand, including any trump cards. The trump suit always beats other suits, and whoever has the highest trump card wins the trick. In case no trump cards are played, the highest card of the leading suit takes the trick. You can score more points by declaring 20 or 40, but the ultimate call is the Tute, which assures a win.
