The Lost Penguin

Experience a serene and peaceful adventure with The Lost Penguin, a Sokoban-style puzzle game. Immerse yourself as a lost little penguin and navigate through intricate grid patterns using logic to complete each level without dying of starvation. Utilize the presence of other penguins to progress further, making friends and synchronizing with them remotely. The game consists of 70 meticulously handcrafted levels featuring interactive elements such as eggs, enemies, teleports, and switches that pose unique challenges to solve. The game mechanics are straightforward, but the possible combinations provide endless depth. Players simply need to tap on a specific cell on the map to move the penguin either horizontally or vertically. Each move will cost one health point, and the game restarts automatically upon the penguin's health bar reaching zero. Recharge points scattered throughout the map allow players to recover their full health. To complete each level, players need to ensure that they cover all the flags on the grid, one flag per penguin. Making penguin friends are also possible by tapping on them while next to the player. Tapping again on a connected friend will disconnect them. Letters provide a whole new layer of interaction as the player can activate them and attach them to a target penguin. Doing so will synchronize the target penguin's movements with the player. Eggs also play a crucial role in the game by offering players the option to hatch them into a penguin or push them toward the opposite direction. An egg that gets pushed will continue to roll until it hits a blocker or reaches the edge of the map. Blockers, both static and dynamic, pose an obstacle to progressing through the levels. Dynamic blockers are dependent on the color-matching switch. When a penguin, egg, or enemy pushes the switch down, the corresponding dynamic blocker gets temporarily removed. Upon the object leaving the switch, the blocker will be set back in its original position.
