In a distant past, there was a kingdom of great prosperity, where the population thrived without suffering from impoverishment and famine.

The monarch of The Cursed Castle, however, never rested peacefully, since hostile villages would often attempt to launch attacks in order to dominate or destabilize the region, dazzled by its magnificence. Thankfully, the army had considerable power, and was always able to guarantee the kingdom's safety.

Suddenly, one day, the sky turned pitch black and the castle was infiltrated by a malevolent entity that massacred any person who did not submit to its rules, plunging the land into darkness. Following this terrible turn of events, the king was never to be seen again, while the kingdom crumbled slowly but surely.

You were a child at the time and one of the few lucky individuals who managed to flee the cursed castle, taking refuge in a nearby village, albeit losing sight of your family in the process. For the past 15 years, you have trained day and night and acquired an array of skills, waiting for the right time to go against the Cursed Castle -- that was once the most stalwart realm in the world -- to take vengeance.
