The Favourite Game of childhood just got a Realtime Flavour to it.
It is multiplayer (Actually, 2 player) but not like the other games where you wait for other players to connect.
Instead, you just need to host the game and authenticate a token and ask your friend to join the game with the same token and play on your own respective devices in sync with the Firebase Database.
# Play anywhere, anytime, with comfort of your own device.
A working internet connection is must though.
# Need more competition?
The game comes with 3 difficulty levels, Each difficulty level gives you limited time
ranging from 20 seconds to 10 seconds to win, tie or else it will be a draw.
Level 1 : 20 seconds
Level 2 : 15 seconds
Level 3 : 10 seconds (The Ultimate Difficulty)
# The Ultimate Difficulty Level (Level 3): Got what it takes to be a Tictactoe master?
Challenge your friend in a quick game of 10 seconds and find the master among you.
*** However it is only recommended to play at Level 3 if both players are comparatively
closer in terms of distance and have a stable internet and not in motion (eg. metro,
cars) as the delay caused by unstable internet due to the above factors may cause
most of the games result in a draw.
But it is worth a try!!
### How to play?
Step 1: Host the game:
Press the Realtime button and go to host, select difficulty level and enter an
authentication token.
Step 2: Join the game:
Ask your friend to go to Join and enter the same token and difficulty an press
play.
Step 3: Play the game and enjoy :)
# Getting bored in a lecture, or in your house or at friend's with no internet access ?
The game is to your rescue!!
Play in offline mode with your friend in same device with alternating turns just like you
did on paper in those childhood days.
Hence time is passed and *paper* is saved.
As it works online, there may be slight delays in taking your turn or updation of screen at
times depending on the strength of your internet connection.
# Game not starting?
Feel free to spam the continue and play buttons as their might one player's internet
connection messing things up :)
# Always host the game first before asking your friend to join to prevent him from joining
someone else's game and ruining the party.
# Want to play again, press replay at game over in any one device and the match will restart
# Don't wanna play, press exit at game over and it closes in both devices.
# Lose connectivity for a few seconds, don't worry your changes are synced and applied when you regain the connection.
(may only work if connection is restored within a short time).
# Easy Login options including Email, Phone and Google.
# Perfect Sync: One user decides to replay or exit, app automatically restarts/ends the game on the other device.
#User left the server: Game automatically stops.
